Ts'uubaa-asatx Nation History
The Kaatza Station and Archives is located on unceded traditional Ts'uubaa-asatx Nation territories. In acknowledgement of that, our Ts'uubaa-asatx Nation displays show photos relating to Ts'uubaa-asatx history and include information about important stories, traditions, and sites throughout the Cowichan Lake region.
This exhibit continues outside in the form of a totem pole carved by Nuu-chah-nulth artist Joshua Watts which depicts the origins of the Ts'uubaa-asatx Nation. More exhibits involving Ts'uubaa-asatx are also planned.
